Delivery Times

The delivery times shown below are rough guides based on UPS zones. Your order has to be entered into the UPS system for delivery times to apply. For example, if you order late on a Friday, our shipper is closed on weekends…so your order will not be entered into the UPS system until Monday or possibly Tuesday.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking email that gives a, usually, very accurate delivery date. But even system scheduled delivery dates can be missed due to inclement weather enroute. But when this happens, you will receive an updated tracking email.

One thought to “Delivery Times”

  1. Hi John;

    Thank you for your interest in our product.

    The slides we use have a stop. To remove the drawer from the cabinet, you have to pull up on the front of the drawer, and then lift the whole drawer out. The slides we use are the old standby that have been used in knife and fork drawers for decades…simple…proven…reliable.

    We did a load test in about 2004 when we were first developing the drawer. The manufacturer’s rating is officially 75 lbs. We screwed our base into a nice new sheet of 3/4″ plywood…extended the drawer and started loading with steel. Got up to 100 lbs and quit before we hurt ourselves. But we don’t recommend loading any drawer over about 60 lbs due to safety. If you think of someone tossing you a 60 lb bag of potatoes…that is a lot of energy. We further tested our system when installed in actual cabinets. At about the 60 lb level what failed was not the drawer mechanism, but the screws pulled a plug of melamine out of the shelf…and in another the screws used to secure the shelf ripped out of the back of the cabinet. The back wall of cabinets is often very thin. If you have to secure some shelves…screw into the side walls…typically at least 1/2″ plywood.

    Trust that helps;
    Brian
